Related Links: Lonely Planet - Mexico Trip Description: On your trip to Cuernavaca you may do some or all of the following activities: • Meet your sponsored friend and possibly their family. • Enjoy performances by sponsored children and aging. • Travel to the subprojects and learn how CFCA supports and empowers the poor. • Attend presentations about the social conditions or obstacles that face CFCA families and communities. • Witness firsthand the living conditions in some of the poorest areas of Mexico. • Visit with the local people and learn from their diverse experiences, perspectives, and strong faith. • See the Mexican countryside and cities. • Experience the unique culture of central Mexico not as a tourist, but as an honored guest and friend. Please note: The itineraries of the Mexico mission trips vary. One date may be more appropriate for you depending on the location of your sponsored friend.
