On your trip to Nicaragua you may do some or all of the following activities: | • | Meet your sponsored friend and possibly their family. | | • | Enjoy performances by sponsored children and aging. | | • | Travel to subprojects surrounding the retreat center and learn how CFCA supports and empowers the poor. | | • | Attend presentations about the social conditions or obstacles that face CFCA families and communities. | | • | Witness firsthand the living conditions in some of the poorest areas of Nicaragua. | | • | Visit with the local people and learn from their diverse experiences, perspectives, and faith. | | • | Observe the beauty of the volcanoes, lakes, mountains and people that Nicaragua’s versatile environment offers. |

The Aug. 16–23, 2008 trip visits subprojects around Managua and in the southwest. Please refer to the special flyer to help you select the trip that will visit the region where your sponsored friend lives. The trip cost is $450. Food, lodging and in-country transportation are included. Airfare is not included.
