On your trip to India you may do some or all of the following activities: | • | Meet your sponsored friend and possibly their family. | | • | Enjoy performances by sponsored children and aging. | | • | Travel to subprojects and learn how CFCA supports and empowers the poor. | | • | Attend presentations about the social conditions or obstacles that face CFCA families and communities. | | • | Witness firsthand the living conditions in some of the poorest areas of India. | | • | Visit with the local people and learn from their diverse experiences, perspectives and strong faith. | | • | Visit the Taj Mahal in Agra. |
The trip cost is $650. (Food, lodging and in-country transportation included. Airfare is not included. Please note: This trip will visit the northern and central regions of India. We urge sponsors with sponsored friends in projects in southern India (Palay, Cuddapah, Vellore, Trichy, Don Bosco, Tamil Nadu/SDB, Angelo and Breads projects) to delay their visit until 2009, when we will offer a trip to the southern region.
