On your trip to Guatemala you may do some or all of the following activities: | • | Meet your sponsored friend and possibly their family. | | • | Enjoy performances by sponsored children and aging. | | • | Travel to the subprojects surrounding the retreat center and learn of CFCA’s work to support and empower the poor | | • | Attend presentations about the social conditions or obstacles facing the families and communities of sponsored children and aging. | | • | Witness firsthand the living conditions in some of the poorest areas of Guatemala. | | • | Visit with the local people and learn from their diverse experiences, perspectives, and strong faith. | | • | Observe the beauty of the volcanoes, lakes and people of Guatemala’s highlands. |
