On your trip to Honduras you may do some or all of the following activities: | • | Meet your sponsored friend and possibly their family. | | • | Enjoy performances by sponsored children and aging. | | • | Travel to the subprojects and learn how CFCA supports and empowers the poor. | | • | Attend presentations about social conditions or obstacles facing the CFCA families and communities. | | • | Witness firsthand the living conditions in some of the poorest areas of Honduras. | | • | Visit with the local people and learn from their diverse experiences, perspectives, and strong faith. | | • | Experience the culture of Honduras not as a tourist, but as an honored guest and friend. |
Please note: The Jun. 21-28 trip will be visiting Ocotepeque and Santa Rosa projects. The Aug. 23-30 trip will be visiting El Progreso and Santa Barbara projects. Sponsors will have the opportunity to meet their sponsored friend during either of the trips offered in 2008. However, we encourage sponsors to choose the trip that visits their sponsored friend’s region. The trip cost is $450. Food, lodging and in-country transportation are included.
