There are many ways to make a difference for the children, youth and aging that CFCA serves. Your contribution will ensure that CFCA programs and support continue to change lives for the better.
You can contribute to CFCA in several ways in addition to your sponsorship or as an alternative to sponsorship.

Scholarship Program
The CFCA Scholarship Program was created to help aspiring older youth and young adults pursue educational goals such as attending high school, vocational training or college. The scholarship program helps provide tuition and needed financial support. Students must maintain satisfactory grades and participate in service to their communities, often within local CFCA projects. Scholarship students provide valuable service hours to CFCA projects and serve as positive role models for younger children. CFCA wants to promote a commitment to service among youth by encouraging students who demonstrate a special interest in serving their communities. The scholarship program exists not only to assist deserving youth, but also to complement the community empowerment efforts of the sponsorship program. Please note that scholarships are awarded at the discretion of CFCA projects, and contributions cannot be designated for individual students. CFCA sends 100 percent of your Scholarship Fund contribution to our projects for scholarships.

Disaster Assistance Fund
In emergencies, such as natural disasters, CFCA accepts donations to provide additional financial support to our projects through the Disaster Assistance Fund. Donations received help address the emergency and long-term needs of sponsored members and their families. The fund has been used to help with relief and recovery efforts following earthquakes, hurricanes, volcanic eruptions, typhoons, floods and mudslides. One hundred percent of donations to this fund are sent to CFCA projects to help individuals and families affected by disasters. Funds donated are used where they are most needed, and CFCA retains discretion as to the use of the funds.

HIV/AIDS Fund
The HIV/AIDS Fund provides direct assistance to AIDS patients, AIDS orphans and other vulnerable children, youth and aging persons impacted by the disease. This includes supplementary benefits to sponsored children and their families in the form of medical treatment for opportunistic infections, nutritional supplements, clothing, health education and voluntary testing. It also provides for ongoing counseling to support positive living among HIV-infected individuals in communities where AIDS carries a heavy social stigma. CFCA sends 100 percent of your contribution to the HIV/AIDS Fund to CFCA projects providing services to children, youth, aging and families affected by HIV/AIDS.
