As Catholics, we're called to solidarity. At CFCA, we live out that calling every day in the U.S. and the 25 countries where we work. Invite a CFCA priest to your parish and find out how your parishioners can walk with the poor by sponsoring a child, youth or aging friend overseas. |

Every weekend, CFCA priests travel to parishes across the country, celebrating Mass, preaching the Gospel and inviting parishioners to actively participate in the Gospel call to serve the poor.
After Mass, information about CFCA, and about specific children, youth and aging in need of sponsorship, will be available. Parishioners are invited to stop by the table for more information or to pick a folder for a child, youth or aging friend they wish to help.
All costs, including travel, are covered by CFCA, and no collections are taken. In addition, CFCA priests may take the place of a parish priest who is out of town, or assist him in his regular weekend Masses.

“Anything that makes people aware of the needs of people is good. The CFCA visit helps parishioners focus in on what it’s all about. They learned that there are good, honest organizations doing charitable work among the needy. We aren’t all able to be out in the field ourselves so this is an excellent way to answer the Gospel call to serve the poor. And you commit yourself to sponsor immediately after Mass; it’s not put off for a collection next week. Personally, the visiting preacher allowed me to get away from the rectory for a while—and it was good for my 950-plus families to hear another voice.”

Pastor of St. Cecilia Parish, Lebanon, Pa.

"I would encourage anyone to get involved with CFCA. It is a great way to express the Catholic nature of our faith by linking up with a brother or sister in Christ in another part of the world. The CFCA model of one-on-one support and communication with a child or an elderly person or a seminarian in another part of the world makes us aware that we belong to a spiritual family that spans all the continents of the world."
