Sponsorship Sundays

Bring the good news of sponsorship to your church by organizing a Sponsorship Sunday.
Give members of your church community the opportunity to sponsor a child, youth or aging friend through CFCA and personally participate in the Church’s social teachings by walking with the poor.
We will help you tailor a Sponsorship Sunday that fits with your community. You may choose one of several possibilities for participating in a Sponsorship Sunday:
- - Speak with your pastor and arrange for a CFCA presenter to celebrate weekend Masses or for a CFCA representative to speak at your church about sponsorship.
- - Share your personal sponsorship experience at a church service. After the service invite others to consider sponsoring by showing them folders of children and aging waiting to be sponsored.
- - Maintain a display rack of CFCA brochures at your church or resource room.

| Church advocacy |
Help CFCA presenters speaking at a church in your area. Share your experiences and assist potential sponsors with sponsorship forms after the worship service.
Church advocacy can also include organizing events to help build community among sponsors in your parish or congregation. Ideas include organizing a sponsor letter-writing party, hosting a CFCA booth at your church festival, or raising awareness of special project needs. |
