The mission of CFCA is deeply rooted in the social justice teachings of the Catholic Church. The Gospel instructs us to offer a preferential respect to the poor and the special situation they have in society. At CFCA, this preference takes on worldwide dimensions. Through communities based on compassion, the immense obstacles of poverty can give way to new hope that the cycle will be broken.
"Love for others, and especially for the poor, is made concrete by promoting justice."
| --Pope John Paul II, 1991 |
How can you help your church's local ministry become part of the CFCA community of compassion and acquire a more global outlook? Our CFCA priests and presenters educate people of faith about the needs of the poor through uplifting church visits. Typically, presentations are made during regularly scheduled weekend services.

"We strive to become a community of service toward a better world. We want to be faithful. We want to do
what we say. We want to put into practice CFCA core values and policies. We want to live authentically in community. With
day-by-day fidelity, we strive to create a more dignified life for our people."
