Housing fund
Hope through housing
Adequate housing is often just a dream for families living in poverty. Many of these hard-working families have no choice but to live in unsafe, undignified housing because it is all they can afford. You can help improve the living conditions of families in the Hope for a Family program by making a donation to the CFCA Housing Fund.
Your donation will:
- repair and improve homes damaged after hurricanes, typhoons, earthquakes, fires and other disasters.
- build new homes for families most in need of a permanent structure.
- purchase land to allow relocation of families who are living in unsafe areas prone to events such as floods and mudslides.
- improve existing homes through the addition of electricity, cement floors, indoor plumbing and roofing.
Need for assistance may arise as a result of natural disasters, fires, wars, civil unrest or conditions of extreme poverty. CFCA project staffs assess the housing needs of families through on-site visits and personal interviews. Assistance is provided to families identified by CFCA projects as most in need.
Donations to the CFCA Housing Fund help sponsored individuals and their families live in more dignified housing.
