Help a family become self-sufficient

We believe families are capable of creating their own path out of poverty – they just need a little help.

CFCA project staff members bring parents of sponsored children together in small groups to develop creative and practical ideas for livelihood programs. The families support one another and work together in an effort to see their income-generating initiatives become a reality. 

Your donation will:

• provide seed capital for micro-loans to help start or expand small businesses.
• purchase livestock or seedlings for sustainable agriculture projects.
• help family members develop marketable skills, such as sewing, tailoring, baking or farming.
• buy tools needed for a trade, such as sewing machines, fishing equipment and farm implements.

Donations to the CFCA Livelihood Program Fund help families in the Hope for a Family sponsorship program provide for themselves through income-generating initiatives and skills.
