Project Manager - Communications
Full Time

We are seeking an individual with proven experience in project management for a communications or marketing team. The primary responsibility of this position is managing the production, purchasing and inventory of printed materials. The position requires the ability to manage printing projects from the conceptual stage to finished product, collaborating with the creative team and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of print production and design, and be able to supervise in-house and freelance designers with a goal of producing a quality product on deadline. Some project management for the Web will also be required.

Individual must be proficient in the use of InDesign or similar graphics program, have strong computer skills in a Windows environment, and be proficient in using Microsoft Office programs. Must be able to solve problems effectively, working individually or with team members. Must be highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities; possess excellent analytical and communication skills; be detail-oriented, self-motivated, service-oriented and an independent worker.

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, preferably in communications, marketing, journalism or related field; at least three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Project management and print-buying experience.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, and function effectively as a member of a team or small group.

Self-motivated and independent worker.

Detail-oriented.

Proficient in InDesign or similar graphics program, Excel and Access.

Impartial decision maker.

Excellent proofreading skills.

Knowledge of or willingness to learn AP Style.

Spanish-language skills a plus.

Full Time

We are seeking an individual with proven experience in the development and maintenance of computer systems. The primary responsibility of this position is to maintain and enhance existing CFCA proprietary software applications and to assist in the design and development of new initiatives. Must be able to design, develop and test software efficiently while communicating effectively with all user levels. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of the .Net Framework and related technologies.

Individual must be highly proficient in C# and ASP.Net, Crystal Reports and SQL. Some experience with web development is desired. Must be a team player, and be able to solve problems effectively working alone or with fellow team members. Must be highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities; possess excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills; detail oriented; self motivated, independent worker and have a service-orientated attitude.

A proven record of software development and experience in trouble shooting programming and systems problems.

Experience in the full project development cycle of a client-server application including design, programming, testing, implementation and maintenance.

Highly proficient in the following: C#, ASP.Net, Crystal reports, SQL queries.

Understanding and exposure to ORM tools such as Nhibernate.

Knowledge of open source unit testing tools such as Nunit and MbUnit.

Knowledge or experience with Infragistics toolset a plus.

Proficient in Access and Excel.

Experience or willingness to learn new systems and new areas in CFCA that require technical support.

Experience working with users and other IS staff to overcome difficulties with processes and to recommend new solutions.

Service-oriented attitude and willingness to improve skills at all levels.

Able to multi-task effectively.

Ability to work and function effectively as a member of a team or small group.

Good communication skills – both oral and written.

Must have the ability to complete assigned tasks and projects in a timely manner.

Christian Foundation for Children and Aging is seeking Roman Catholic priests with a missionary heart to work with us in the United States - giving a voice to the poor while celebrating the Eucharist in parishes around the country. By combining a passion for serving the poor with excellent preaching skills, the priests who work with us help bring persons from different cultures and countries together as they invite the faithful to sponsor a child, youth or elderly person in need.


All Priests must be in good standing with their bishops or religious superiors. Travel required is for weekend assignments only. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, and Spanish-speaking priests are especially needed. We offer competitive compensation.
