Volunteer in your community
Help us help them — take part in our outreach efforts
By sharing CFCA with others in your community, you give us a personal and cost-effective way to find sponsors for children, youth and aging friends on our waiting list.

Be a part of our '8,000 kids' campaign
CFCA President Bob Hentzen walked nearly 8,000 miles through Latin America. His goal is to get 8,000 kids sponsored to show our solidarity with children and families in need.
Can you help us find one sponsor? It's simple.
- Take a folder of just one child and show it to people you know.
- Keep the folder for 60 days and give it your best effort.
- If you are unable to find a sponsor, just return the folder in the postage-paid envelope we provide.

More ways you can get involved
There are many ways you can help us reach out to more children, youth and aging friends. You can choose an activity that matches your interests, skills and availability.
Please contact us to let us know how you would like to help. |
- Volunteer at the sponsorship table during a local CFCA event.
- Host a sponsorship information table at your next church or community event.
- Help bring a CFCA priest to your church. We will provide you with a small packet of information and tips on talking with your pastor.
- Give presentations to groups in your community. We can provide materials and assistance in developing your talk.
- Organize a letter-writing party for CFCA sponsors in your community, and help them send words of encouragement to their sponsored friends.
