Project Manager/Systems Analyst
The International Programs department at Christian Foundation for Children and Aging (CFCA), an international nonprofit working in 22 developing countries, is seeking a bilingual individual with a heart for helping people and a head for technology to work as the Project Manager/Systems Analyst for International Programs.
This important role wears many hats, including process improvement, problem solving, participation in the design and implementation of software and Internet applications, project management, training and facilitation. The candidate must be fluent in Spanish, as all of the tasks will be performed in both English and Spanish.
At the heart of the role is the ability to understand our proprietary software (CASA)’s ever-changing business needs and assist the user analyst in developing and implementing initiatives that affect CFCA’s overseas projects and headquarters office. While CASA is central to the individual’s responsibilities, this is not a programming position. The candidate needs to be proficient with data query tools such as MS Access or SQL to a moderate degree of complexity.
This role requires in-depth understanding of CASA, web content management software (Sitecore), financial software (Sage) and the ability to document requirements, design, test, train, implement and provide ongoing support for new applications that will allow project staff members to interact with CFCA information systems via Internet-based applications.
We are looking for an individual who will be productive, successful and happy to be a part of CFCA’s work to serve the poor and marginalized of the world. Periodic travel to international project sites will be required.
Core Responsibilities (in order of priority)
- Department support: Ensure that CASA is changing/improving/providing data to meet the business needs of international programs staff and all projects CFCA-wide.
- Project/Process management: Develop, manage and assist the User Analyst to provide increased interaction with our international offices via the Internet and remote access to CFCA-wide software applications.
- Team problem solving: Provide problem solving, work flow and process facilitation for issues that cross functional department lines.
- Project user support: Provide training and ongoing support to International programs staff and project staff regarding new and evolving international programs initiatives.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; 3-5 years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have experience and proven success in prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously to completion, finishing projects on time and meeting high standards for quality.
Preferred qualifications: Accounting knowledge a plus. Experience managing others a plus.

Christian Foundation for Children and Aging, an international nonprofit organization sponsoring children in 22 developing countries, is seeking a writer/editor with proven experience writing and editing stories and other copy in a nonprofit, business or news environment. The primary responsibilities of the writer/editor are to write, edit, develop concepts, and coordinate and review content for CFCA print publications, online communications, and various communications and marketing materials, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the CFCA brand message and assisting with implementation of initiatives that help achieve the overall communications and marketing goals of the organization. This position reports to the director of communications and requires the individual to be located on-site at CFCA’s Kansas City headquarters.

Support Services Specialist
The Support Services Specialist role is an integral, active team member of the Child Services department. The candidate will demonstrate a heart for serving families living in poverty and work collaboratively with team members and all co-workers in CFCA.
This role works within a team to assist the Records Group Team Leader in providing support to a variety of individuals, teams and functions within the department. The main focus of support is with campaigns, update requests and photo printing. The purpose of the Support Services Specialist role is to expand overall expertise for Child Services in these areas and to offer regular support to co-workers to accomplish the work of CFCA in a supportive, harmonious team environment.

For this role of Marketing Manager for New Channels, we are looking for someone who can help us find new ways to cross paths with people of all faiths and invite them to join us in the empowering adventure of sponsorship. We are looking for someone with specific skills and demonstrated experience researching and entering new markets with strategies and plans designed to meet stated goals.
This individual will research, identify, develop, implement and support new and emerging sponsor acquisition channels for CFCA’s sponsorship program. This individual will be responsible for directing and implementing effective acquisition methods that fit CFCA’s overall positioning and messaging, and developing, guiding and executing marketing strategies and plans that will raise awareness and establish market share to acquire sponsors through methods consistent with CFCA’s mission, core values and identity.

US Outreach Call Representative
The Call Representative is responsible for initiating contacts within the national Catholic community and promoting CFCA to prospective parishes.
Communication is predominantly completed via the telephone but will also utilize email, fax and U.S. mail.
The Call Representative must be credible and comfortable in speaking and representing CFCA by telephone, specifically in outbound cold calling and inbound customer relations.
The Representative must be energetic and persuasive, with an entrepreneurial spirit, willing to work in a team environment and motivated by the desire to serve the poor of the world.
Candidate should have a basic familiarity with the Catholic Church and the ability to work comfortably within Catholic culture. Should have strong sales and/or marketing background, customer service, administrative and call center experience.
Should possess the ability to deal with rejection and remain positive; excellent organizational skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to multitask; ability to work on a team and be a team player while having to work independently and be self-motivated; ability to understand and follow through on instructions.
