.Net Developer
Christian Foundation for Children and Aging (CFCA) is seeking a .Net developer. We are seeking an individual with proven experience in the development and maintenance of computer systems. The primary responsibility of this position is to maintain and enhance existing CFCA proprietary software applications and to assist in the design and development of new initiatives. Must be able to design, develop and test software efficiently while communicating effectively with all user levels. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of the .Net Framework and related technologies.
Individual must be highly proficient in C# and T-SQL. At least one to two years experience with ASP.NET and Javascript web development is desired. Must be a team player, and be able to solve problems effectively, working alone or with fellow team members. Must be highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities; possess excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills; detail-oriented; self-motivated, independent worker and have a service-oriented attitude. This position is not a virtual position and requires the individual to be located on-site at our Kansas City offices.

- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Information Systems and a minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two or more years experience in programming, testing, documenting and maintaining software applications on a .Net platform.
- A proven record of software development and experience in troubleshooting programming and systems problems.
- Experience in the full project development cycle of a client-server application including design, programming, testing, implementation and maintenance.
- Highly proficient in the following: C#, ASP.Net, T-SQL.
- Understanding of Javascript and Ajax within the web paradigm.
- Experience with a CMS tool such as Sitecore.
- Exposure to a reporting tool such as Crystal Reports.
- Understanding and exposure to ORM tools such as Nhibernate.
- Knowledge of open source unit testing tools such as Nunit and MbUnit.
- Experience or willingness to learn new systems and new areas in CFCA that require technical support.
- Experience working with users and other IS staff to overcome difficulties with processes and to recommend new solutions.
- Service-oriented attitude and willingness to improve skills at all levels.
- Able to multitask effectively.
- Ability to work and function effectively as a member of a team or small group.
- Good communication skills – both oral and written.
- Must have the ability to complete assigned tasks and projects in a timely manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge or experience with Infragistics toolset a plus.
- Knowledge or experience with Telerik toolset a plus.
- Knowledge or experience with Jira a plus.
- Knowledge or experience with Git source control a plus.

Social Media Coordinator
Christian Foundation for Children and Aging (CFCA) is seeking a social media coordinator to work in our U.S. outreach department. Ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for social media and ability to deliver the best results possible.
The social media coordinator is responsible for leading the implementation of CFCA’s social media strategy. As a member of the U.S. outreach department and the new channels team, the social media coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the success of social media efforts and seeing that social strategy supports overall brand goals and objectives, which include expanding our base, keeping users engaged, and delivering fun, engaging and informative content. Working within a collaborative team environment, the candidate will coordinate the efforts of a dynamic cross-functional team who support the social media function at CFCA and be responsible for representing the public voice of the organization and the sponsored members and their families. The candidate will coordinate efforts among team members from various departments who support content needs and visuals for our social media platforms.
This is a hands-on position where the candidate will handle the day-to-day execution of social media efforts across various platforms and be responsible for project management of social media efforts. The candidate will also be responsible for the development, review and presentation of social analytics and reporting with the ability to draw meaningful insights and make recommendations.
Qualifications: BA in marketing, communications, new media or related field of study. Minimum two (2) years of direct hands-on experience in guiding, managing and implementing social media efforts or equivalent related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Candidate must have demonstrated ability to work well in a collaborative team environment, delegate appropriately and manage priorities to achieve goals and meet deadlines; must possess a positive attitude and be open to new ideas with the ability to listen carefully, try new things, suggest alternatives and solve challenges; organized, detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
Requires moderate to advanced computer skills in a Windows environment; Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. HTML and SEO knowledge.

U.S. Outreach Call Representative
Christian Foundation for Children and Aging (CFCA) is seeking a U.S. Outreach call representative for our U.S. Outreach department. The call representative is responsible for initiating contacts within the national Catholic community and promoting CFCA to prospective parishes.
Communication is predominantly completed via the telephone but will also utilize email, fax and U.S. mail.
The Call Representative must be credible and comfortable in speaking and representing CFCA by telephone, specifically in outbound cold calling and inbound customer relations.
The Representative must be energetic and persuasive, with an entrepreneurial spirit, willing to work in a team environment and motivated by the desire to serve the poor of the world.
Candidate should have a basic familiarity with the Catholic Church and the ability to work comfortably within Catholic culture. Should have strong sales and/or marketing background, customer service, administrative and call center experience.
Should possess the ability to deal with rejection and remain positive; excellent organizational skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to multitask; ability to work on a team and be a team player while having to work independently and be self-motivated; ability to understand and follow through on instructions. Strong computer skills in a Windows environment: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and database experience required.
Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; three+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
